Midnight Cereal

Midnight Cereal is a Thai pop-punk and alternative rock band formed in 2021, bringing the nostalgic energy of early 2000s rock music into a new generation. Known for their powerful guitar riffs, catchy melodies, and emotionally expressive songwriting, the band blends classic pop-punk influences with modern rock elements and personal storytelling.

The four-piece band consists of Pop (vocals), Kaew (vocals and bass), Ebbie (guitar), and Babe (drums). United by their shared love for 2000s rock culture, Midnight Cereal initially gained attention through energetic covers of iconic pop-punk and alternative rock songs on YouTube, building a dedicated online following.

In November 2022, the band made their official debut with A Way to Get Away, introducing their original sound to listeners. Their growing popularity led to an important milestone in 2023 when they were selected as an opening act for Canadian pop-punk band Simple Plan during their Bangkok concert.

Continuing their musical journey, Midnight Cereal released original singles including Yesterday No More, The Colorist, Our Favorite Song, and All These Times, showcasing their ability to combine energetic instrumentation with relatable stories about love, heartbreak, and personal experiences.

In October 2024, the band released their debut EP, Damn, That's F*ing Sad**, under BiTEs. Featuring five English-language tracks, the project explores different perspectives on sadness, emotional struggles, and the process of accepting difficult experiences. Songs such as It Hurts, 'Cause You Look Happier, Are You OK?, and H.O.M.E. highlight the band's balance of emotional honesty and powerful pop-punk arrangements.

In 2025, Midnight Cereal returned with Cotton Sky, introducing a softer, more atmospheric musical direction. The single explores the emotional weight of lost love through dreamy guitar textures, delicate melodies, and a gradually intensifying arrangement, reflecting the band's continuing artistic evolution.

With their distinctive combination of nostalgic pop-punk energy, heartfelt lyrics, and dynamic performances, Midnight Cereal continues to build its presence in Thailand's alternative music scene, connecting the spirit of early 2000s rock with contemporary musical expression.
