The Biirthday Party

The Biirthday Party is a Thai dream pop and indie rock band from Ubon Ratchathani, Thailand, known for their atmospheric melodies, shimmering guitars, and emotionally driven songwriting. Blending elements of dream pop, shoegaze, and indie rock, the band creates immersive soundscapes that explore themes of love, loneliness, nostalgia, and personal relationships.

Formed by Den, Pat, and Jay, the band made their debut in 2020 with Myloveliestfriends, introducing their distinctive blend of dreamy melodies, layered instrumentation, and introspective lyrics. Early releases such as Size L, Iwannabeyouralone, Toomuchcoffee, and Alwaysalwaysmissyoumissyou helped establish their presence in Thailand's independent music scene, followed by the compilation Stayalonewithmyloveliesfriend in 2022.

The founding members also went on to form Lesssugär, a separate musical project featuring female vocals and a more experimental approach to alternative and electronic sounds.

The Biirthday Party continued exploring new musical directions through tracks such as ใครแอบพาเธอไปนะ?, Tissdance!, Lada, and Wanda, while maintaining the dreamy atmosphere and emotional depth that define their music.

In 2025, the band released howtobealonewithoutbeinglonely, marking another chapter in their musical journey. They continued releasing new material in 2026, including multi love beyond hurt and if it makes you feel better.

The band is now preparing to introduce their upcoming 12-track album, inthecolorofdepression, with an album launch event scheduled for November 28, 2026, at Volume Livehouse in Bangkok.

With their distinctive sound and evolving musical identity, The Biirthday Party continues to make its mark on Thailand's independent music scene, connecting deeply personal emotions with atmospheric and immersive musical experiences.
